9. Wadsworth As Fallout 3 is a large game with a massive world to explore, it is possible not to meet Wadsworth at all, but this would be a sure loss. Anyone who spends anytime in Megaton will easily meet this hovering robo-companion. Wadsworth is a robot butler, with an attitude problem and a decent range of macabre jokes, as long as his humour emitter is fully charged. He may give instructions on how to spruce up the house, re-style haircuts, tell jokes, give out water and even general advice. Although his lines aren€™t up there with any from the Value games and he isn€™t a main character in Fallout, he still stands out enough to fly the robot gaming flag. 8. Wheatley (Portal 2)

One of three entries on this list from Value is from the awesome Portal series. The Portal games really fly the flag for robotic personalities, exploring the humour and drama that can be injected into the cold dead heart of a robot. This award winning sphere was voiced by The Office€™s Stephen Merchant, strongly praised by critics and fans alike. Wheatley€™s development through the game provides a roller-coaster ride from start to finish and helps drive forward the brilliant story. Although he€™s not the brightest of AI he is one of the funniest, coming up with some brilliant lines regarding his time at the Aperture Science labs.
