Top 15 Robots In Video Games

11. Chibi-Robo

Perhaps the cutest entry on this countdown is the tiny robot that is Chibi-Robo who was given to a socially inept 8 year old girl for her birthday. This quirky platformer is straight out of Japan; the land of cute and technology. Chibi-Robo had the task of household chores, such as cleaning and tidying up rubbish, which is more fun than it sounds. He had a cute plug cable in his tale area which could be plugged into power-outlets to recharge his tiny batteries. The main joy in the game was exploring the human size house from the point of view of a 10 centimetre robot. Along the way you meet a cast of characters, who consist of toys that come to life at night. As you progress, the plot thickens and the adventure becomes bigger than you might expect. Chibi-Robo was released for the Gamecube in 2006 and did well for a Gamecube title. 10. D0g
The faithfully pet of our Half-Life 2€™s Alyx Vance D0g is pretty much what he sounds like; a dog-like robot. He has a habit of showing up at the right times. Just as our main man Gordon Freeman appears to be facing death either face to face with one of those long legged things or trapped under some rubble, D0g jumps in to save the day. D0g also helps Gordon to learn how to use the gravity gun and loves nothing more but to lift things out of the way for Mr Freeman. His impressive strength and loyalty has made him a fan favourite and he will hopefully appear in many more Half-Life games to come.
