8 Games We Love Even Though They SUCK

7. The Order: 1886

The Order: 1886 is one of the most calamitous AAA duds of the last decade-or-so - an alt-history steampunk action-adventure game from Ready at Dawn which was neatly positioned as PlayStation's next big blockbuster IP.

But it was ultimately panned for its simplistic, on-rails gameplay and brutally short play-time of around five hours relative to the full-whack AAA asking price.

Yet in the years since The Order's release, there's been a burgeoning enthusiasm for what it was trying to achieve - especially among players who didn't pay top dollar for it day one.

Years removed from the staggering pre-release hype, it's a little easier to forgive the game's thunderous linearity and bone-headed AI, especially considering how eye-wateringly gorgeous its world is.

It's a card-carrying Vibes Game that probably could've led to a better sequel if its launch price better reflected its length, and while Sony seems rather embarrassed of its existence these days, there are many who appreciate the sure artistry within this deeply flawed flop.
