7. Trevor Philips - Grand Theft Auto V
It simply wouldn't be possible to write this list without including a protagonist from the Grand Theft Auto franchise, and in A**hole Top Trumps it's basically impossible to beat GTA V's Trevor Philips.
Though basically every GTA protagonist is a certain flavour of psychopath, most seem positively well-adjusted compared to ol' Trev, who will kill and torture not merely to achieve a particular goal, but also because he enjoys it. A lot.
It's often been suggested that Trevor is basically Rockstar's parody of the typical GTA player, who uses the consequence-free sandbox of the game world to do horrific things they never would in real life.
And indeed Trevor, with his mask-off insanity and senselessly violent proclivities, feels like the physical embodiment of the average GTA player's do-anything mindset writ large.
As hilariously unhinged as Trevor might be, not a single other GTA protagonist gets even close to his level of depravity.
If all of this didn't clinch him an entire mine's worth of coal, the fact that he killed one of the GTA series' sacred cows - The Lost and Damned's beloved protagonist Johnny Klebitz - surely did.
We think Santa would agree that killing Johnny alone was a coal-worthy dick move.
