WWE 2K15: 10 Reasons Why It Must Recreate The Monday Night Wars

7. Write Your Own Story Mode

When WWE bought WCW in 2001, feelings were mixed. While the acquisition had its supporters, many fans felt the Monday Night Wars shouldn't have ended in the first place. The appearance of McMahon family members on the final episode of Monday Nitro was a warning of the mediocrity to come. With no competition, WWE stagnated, and has only recently become interesting again. A Monday Night Wars game could present the opportunity for fans to rewrite history. Does Shane McMahon's WCW/ECW Alliance still stick in your craw? Do you dislike the poor treatment the World Title has received in recent years? Do you really like Buff Bagwell? An intricate story mode would at least allow you to imagine what could have been. Maybe Ted Turner wasn't ejected from AOL-Time-Warner, so WCW lived on and even bounced back. What if Steve Austin had stayed with WCW, or Hulk Hogan with WWE? The One Warrior Nation angle was enough of a success to put WCW back on top, you say? You may be a dreamer, but you're not the only one.
