WWE 2K15: 10 Ways It Lived Up To The Hype

9. Better Commentary

One of the biggest complaints WWE fans have about the current product is the horrendous state of commentary. The three man circus of Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and JBL serve as a major distraction from the in-ring action every Monday night on Raw and makes old school fans long for the days of Jim Ross and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Bad news for wrestling gamers is that the commentary team in WWE 2K15 will consist of Lawler and Cole. The good news, however, is that their commentary will be unlike anything heard in a WWE video game before. Having recorded over 30 hours of new in-game commentary, there's a fairly good chance you won't be hearing tired, repetitive lines from Cole and Lawler in the matches you play. Granted, it may not be realistic since any regular Raw viewer knows Cole and Lawler also say the same things every week, but that's probably for the better. Despite how avid of a gamer you are, it'd be essentially guaranteed that you'd be asking for a refund if you were to hear JBL scream "Air Uso!" for the millionth time. Cole is no J.R., but at least we'll be getting some fresh material from the self-proclaimed "Voice of WWE" in WWE 2K15.
