WWE 2K16: 10 Simple Fixes That Would Make It Awesome

8. The NXT Arena

In WWE 2K15, it felt like a handful of NXT stars were thrown in at the last minute for the sake of it, but this year's instalment has definitely made up for that with a much better choice of playable wrestlers hailing from Orlando (though there are still undeniably some notable omissions who been around long enough to have easily been included). They're not the biggest problem here though. What is, is the lack of authenticity while playing in the NXT Arena. Rather than making an effort to recreate Full Sail University, NXT is identical to Raw and SmackDown, just with a different set of logos plastered all over the place. This is immediately jarring, and it's hard to believe that it would have been that hard to recreate this location for the game, especially as it's done a reasonably good job of making the WrestleMania 31 stadium feel as huge here as it is in real life. Chances are that the majority of WWE 2K16 players couldn't care less about the arena they're playing in, but for a truly authentic NXT experience, it would have been nice to see this little extra bit of work put in to bring some faithfulness to proceedings. Alternatively, I guess it's possible to just pretend you're playing at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn until they get this right, but that's not exactly the same!
