Even though many of the big names have left NXT, the popularity of the brand continues to grow. 2K could probably release a rival to WWE 2K17 title NXT 2K17 and make a barrel load of money... Just a thought. 2K have teased us with an NXT mode in previous games. In 2K15, those gamers who stuck with their trusty last gen consoles were given the privilege of Who Got NXT. This was very basic however, and only included five Superstars so the scope for improvement is very vast indeed. 2K17 could run us through all the best matches from the brand's short history, which would work well with the DVD they recently released. Or they could even pick on a Superstar like Kevin Owens and follow his path of destruction through what is still considered as WWE's developmental brand. Whatever 2K decide to do, an NXT mode would be a winner in the eyes of almost every single member of the WWE Universe.
