It's coming, we just don't know when. You can bet your bottom dollar that the Monday Night Wars will be at the centre of a 2K game in the future. There's just no way they can't, right? The dust has just about settled after the series WWE put together and stuck on their Network last year, so it could be the perfect opportunity for them to deal with wrestling's golden period once more. With WWE having so many former WWF/WCW talents under contract, iy just makes sense for them to give the rivalry a good going over in video game form. If Hogan is accepted back into the WWE Universe, the only potential stumbling block would be Goldberg on the WCW side of things. He would drive a hard bargain to be included in the game. Although he was included in WWE 2K14, so there is a deal to be done there. This would see us gamers play out all the monumental moments from both companies as one. It would be a back and forth, meaning that while you were playing a huge match on WCW for example, if something mega happened on Raw at the same time, you would have the option to jump over to the other side and play that, before coming back to finish the WCW match if you wanted to. Is that too complex? It would add a modicum of reality to the mode as that's how fans watched the product back then. They'd start with their favourite brand, change the channel when something that didn't tickle their fancy came on, and then change back when that happened on the rival show. 2K have the chance to be real innovators here.
