WWE 2K18 - Predicting 10 Legends Who Could Appear

2. The Nasty Boys

When one thinks of WWE's 'Golden Era', numerous classic tag teams come to mind. Several teams have made it into a WWE 2K video game, but one of the more egregious omissions has been Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags, the Nasty Boys.

WWE's 2K franchise has previously featured classic tandems like the Hart Foundation, Natural Disasters, and the Legion of Doom, but the Nasty Boys haven't seen inclusion in a console-based WWE video game in quite some time. Knobbs and Sags are not alone in this as teams like Demolition and the Powers of Pain have also been kept out of the franchise, but the latter have been for political and legal purposes (all four members of Demolition and the Powers of Pain are currently plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit against WWE).

As it relates to WWE's merchandising partners, Knobbs and Sags join fellow 2K17's exclusions Stevie Ray, D-Lo Brown, Virgil, and one more legend as talents that have recently been replicated in action figure form, thanks to WWE's partnership with Mattel. If WWE is willing to allow production of the Nasty Boys as toys, surely they could make it into WWE 2K18?
