WWE 2K19: 10 Awesome Features That Must Return
4. GM Mode
GM Mode didn't stick around for long in THQ's old SmackDown vs. Raw series. After debuting in 2006, it was gone by the time SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 hit shelves in late-2008. Since then, gamers who loved it have been pining for a comeback.
WWE's real-life product makes it logical. Raw and SmackDown both have General Managers that appear on TV most weeks, and they're the ones responsible for making matches, announcing pay-per-view title shots and interacting with talent. Sounds like something that'd be perfect for a video game, doesn't it?
2K19 would be infinitely more interesting if it boasted a GM Mode return, and the developers wouldn't even have to do much tweaking of the old system. Aside from a glitch here or there when playing two-player in 2008, the feature was pretty much perfect.
Picking a GM, sticking them to the brand of your choice and running that show opposite the other major WWE weekly is a no-brainer. 2K cannot go wrong here.
