WWE 2K22: 10 Hands On First Impressions You Need To Know
5. Multi-Wrestler Matches Are Still Messy
Earlier, it was said that the new "breakers" will stop endless animation cycles. That's true one-on-one, but there are still some issues with multi-wrestler matches, and it's worth noting how much annoyance this will cause some gamers.
At times, it never feels like you're properly in control when three or four other wrestlers are stuck in a constant chain of animation interruptions. Maybe this is something that's unavoidable for 2K (they'd perhaps have to create a whole new gameplay style for matches with more than two workers), but it's bound to be irritating in gimmick bouts like TLC.
There, the end goal is to scale a ladder and pull something down. That's infuriating when so many body parts are flying around and bringing your character's animation cycles to a grinding halt. Yeah, just stay away from these match types if you don't have much patience!
That's a shame, 'cause they should be some of the game's most thrilling.
