WWE 2K22: 10 Most Anticipated Changes Fans Need To See

6. Serviceable (Or No) Commentary

2K Games

A lot of the complaints here could also apply to most WWE games over the past 20-something years, but they're somehow more pressing for 2K22 because 2K20 was such a catastrophe. So, brace thyself for a familiar whinge about the ultra-unrealistic commentary 2K's series comes armed with.

It's p*ss poor, has been for decades and has shown zero signs of improvement since Tazz was saying, "Triple H...HAS...won...THE...match" in 2001. Recent attempts had Michael Cole completely ignore context to describe Braun Strowman as a female competitor, for example. Those kinks need ironed out next time.

Or, 2K could just delete the soundtrack completely.

It's doubtful that anyone would miss the ill-placed commentary anyway. This might be a year to bump Cole, Corey Graves and pals from the studio, focus more on other parts of the game and come back to it when things are more settled.
