WWE 2K23: 10 Improvements Fans Demand
9. A WWE Theme Library
What about Raven? WHAT ABOUT F*CKING RAVEN?!
OK, time to calm it. Seriously though, is it really too much to ask that fans get to dip into a glorious archive of timeless entrance themes for their CAWs? Copyright issues have long been touted as a reason why players can't use real bands in-game for custom tracks, but WWE has a wealth of tunes to pull from.
One solution here would be linking up to a user's Spotify account so they can freely pick out real themes from game-centric playlists for wrestlers downloaded from Community Creations. Having that picture-perfect WCW version of Raven without his Nirvana-inspired entrance breaks immersion for older fans.
If that's a step too far for 2K, then they could always just include a cloud-stored library of WWE themes. Raven's McMahon-produced song is still a banger, so it'd suffice for those looking for a little Scott Levy authenticity to go along with their painstaking creations.
