9. More Legends On-Disc
Hey, would you like to play as Mick Foley's classic Cactus Jack character? How about getting some minutes in as nWo members like Hollywood Hogan or Syxx? Fancy teleporting back to the past, grabbing The Undertaker from 1998 and plonking him on episodes of SmackDown today?
You need to pay extra for that.
Generally, ludicrously expensive pre-order bonuses and DLC content get frowned upon by the 2K faithful, and 2K22 proved why yet again. Legends like Foley, Hogan (at least his nWo incarnation) and 'Taker 1998 were locked behind a paywall, and that just sucks.
It's a bit rubbish that 2K decided to thin down the Legends pool and force fans to pay more for some real favourites. In future, maybe the devs should scrap the 'Season Pass' idea for character models and start offering more impressive DLC content; more legends should defo be included from the off for everyone too.
