WWE 2K24: 10 Rumours You Need To Know
1. CM Punk Could Be DLC
CM Punk didn't put pen to paper on a WWE return until shortly before his dynamic appearance at Survivor Series: WarGames last November actually happened. That doesn't leave 2K much time to work with if they're planning on an official model that's on-disc for 2K24's release pre-WrestleMania XL.
The returning ex-AEW man will surely be DLC after the fact. Unless...
Some out there have him down as a tasty pre-order bonus for fans who buy the game ahead of launch. That's possible, but it would be a bit ambitious to expect that 2K have a character model ready to go. In other words, it's important that Punk's model is one of the best-looking in the entire game.
Nobody in the WWE 2K community wants to see some googly-eyed knock-off that pales in comparison to what gamers themselves whipped up as CAWs last year, put it that way. Punk's character deserves care and attention, so post-release DLC might well be the way to go.
