7. Alan Wake 2

Though the original Alan Wake was not initially a huge success, but it has actually managed to shift nearly 3 million units since it was released and downloadable title Alan Wake's American Nightmare was successful too, all this shows that there is an appetite for a proper sequel to the intriguing, though slightly flawed original. With the Xbox One though Remedy could finally realise their initial vision for the title, which was meant to be a fully open-world and not as linear as it ended up being. Alan Wake 2 should go back to it's surivial horror roots rather than the all-action affair that was American Nightmare and if Remedy could go back to their open world idea and create the game that they were aiming for first time round then it could be an absolute classic. With the news that they are working on new IP Quantum Break, the chances of them also working on a new Alan Wake game might be a little slim but we know that it is a series they hold close to their hearts so it will only be a matter of time before we are back in that pea coloured coat and cowering in terror from scary lumberjacks.
