3. Beyond Good & Evil 2

The original Beyond Good & Evil was a member of the most unfortunate club in gaming, where the only rules of admission are to be an exceptionally well crafted experience that just didn't sell particularly well. Despite glowing reviews from critics up and down the land, it just didn't shift that many copies and so for years, any hope of a sequel seemed faint. That was until 2008 when the games creator, Michael Ancel, announced that the sequel had been in development for a year and fans up and down the land rejoiced. Since then, Ancel has announced that the return of Jade and Pey'j had moved its development to the next-generation of consoles and I am dying to see this properly and formally announced. The first game was a brilliant adventure and playing through it after its recent XBLA/PSN re-release showed that it has lost absolutely none of its class, although it does not look a little bit rough around the edges. The game is well overdue a sequel and hopefully we can see one early on in this generation and the occasional rumours of its cancellation prove to be nothing more than idle gossip.
