2. Half-Life Episode 3/Half Life 3
The day Half-Life 3/Episode 3 is announced by those secretive little fu****ers over at Valve, I fully believe that the internet will implode in on itself. If Microsoft has any sense at all it will be in the process of shipping over pallets of money to Valve's headquarters and begging them to announce and little something for the Xbox One. Half-Life is one of the most popular and critically acclaimed series in the history of gaming and Half-Life 2 is a game that I play through at least once a year, it is still better than 90% of games released today. It has been a ridiculous six years since Episode 2 graced our screens for the first time and the Orange Box proved a huge hit on the Xbox 360, so Valve know that they have a loyal army of Xbox fans, they need to sort themselves out and get on the Xbox One. Given the similarities with PC architecture it should be a doddle to get the new Half-Life up and running, assuming they haven't been beavering away at it for the past few years already. If Microsoft could announce some form of window of exclusivity then they could take a significant early lead in the next-gen console race.
