Zelda: Breath Of The Wild: 10 Best Overworld Bosses

6. Satori Mountain's Stalnox

Breath Of The Wild
Nintendo

The Stalnox is the toughest variant of the Hinoxes alongside the Black Hinox. Only appearing at night, the Stalnox is a skeletal version of the Hinox, that has the unnerving ability to rip out its ribs, collarbones, and arms to use as projectiles. They can also dig up bomb barrels to throw at Link, making them all the more dangerous.

Satori Mountain’s Stalnox is one of the ten Stalnoxes in the game; it’s skeleton covering a golden claymore in the day. The Stalnox is situated near The Lord of the Mountain’s spawn point, that will appear at random intervals. If The Lord of the Mountain’s spawn window is at night, it’s not unlikely that the player will bump into the Stalnox on the way.

A good amount of trees also surround the Stalnox, which it can throw at you. The precarious drop off the mountain is another danger to consider if the Stalnox gets a clean hit on the player.

The Stalnoxes are pretty fun bosses to defeat, with some unorthodox tactics to do so. When the Stalnox has lost half its health, the skeleton will collapse, and the eye will fall out of its socket, which the player can attack from the ground. Tricking the Stalnox to try and sit on you will also make it break into a mess of bones.
