Zelda: Breath Of The Wild: 10 Best Overworld Bosses

Naydra is one of the three dragons that roam Breath of the Wild’s map. They cannot be defeated, but Link can shoot arrows to dislodge parts of their body to use in some quests and as clothing upgrades. Naydra is the only dragon that doesn’t initially roam.

Link can find the icy dragon at the Spring of Wisdom, where it sits motionless, corrupted by Ganon’s Malice. It’s Link's job to shoot the infected eyes off Naydra to free it from Ganon’s grasp.

It’s a wide-spread battle, as the dragon flies over various areas of Mount Lanayru. Despite the grandeur, it’s not the hardest battle, as neither the dragon nor Ganon’s Malice attack Link; the whole affair is screaming for some freezing or Malice projectiles. The challenge, however, is hitting the eyes themselves, as Naydra can move incredibly fast, and may hit players with its swiping talons.

What makes this boss great, however, is the sheer majesty of the creature, coupled with the pride of freeing it from the poisonous malice. It is a jaw-dropping spectacle and an alternative take on a boss fight.
