10 Horror Movie Characters Who Deserve Their Own Spin-Off
1. Tallahassee - Zombieland
One of the most important aspects to what made Zombieland so fun and enjoyable was the family dynamic between the core four characters. Tallahassee in particular was integral to this, as he acted as something of an older brother to Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), and father figure or cool uncle to Little Rock (Abigail Breslin).
But before joining up with his new family, Woody Harrelson's character was a lone wolf, and a zombie-killing machine. There's plenty of that on show throughout the two Zombieland movies, but who wouldn't want to see more of it?
More Woody Harrelson is by default a pro for any project, and as the gun-toting maniac he would be incredibly fun. However, there are much deeper layers to Tallahassee than that. The surface was barely scratched on the pain he suffered after losing his son to the zombies.
Whether a spin-off went far back enough to actually show the event in a similar way to how Joel (Pedro Pascal) lost Sarah (Nico Parker) in The Last of Us (possibly not as it is still inherently a comedy franchise), dealing with the aftermath could be a poignant and heart-wrenching tale to tell.
