10 Horror Sequels EVERYONE Wants To See
6. The Guest II

Adam Wingard's The Guest is one of the most memorable and stylish horror-thrillers of the last decade, making perfect use of Dan Stevens in the role of a superficially charming soldier who is actually a Terminator-like military test subject.
The Guest received rave reviews and remains a popular fixture among horror fans, though it also failed to spark a fire at the box office, recouping barely half of its $5 million budget.
Given the film's ambiguous ending, though, fans have been talking up the prospect of a sequel ever since, and it remains beloved enough that they're still asking Wingard about it over a decade later.
In 2022, Wingard collaborated on a soundtrack for The Guest II - effectively a gift to fans to help evoke the mood of what a Guest sequel would sound like.
But fans wanted a movie, and in the years since he and Stevens have continually talked about their desire to get The Guest II made eventually.
Hell, the fact that Wingard and Stevens are collaborating on a new action-horror film called Onslaught has some fans hopeful that it could even be a secret standalone sequel to The Guest.
Here's hoping, even if that's probably setting us all up for disappointment.
