20 Best Horror Movie Kills of 2025

Christopher Landon's horror-thriller Drop lived up to its name in more ways than one, revolving around a woman, Violet (Meghann Fahy), who is sent threatening AirDrop messages while out on a date at a restaurant.

The culprit is eventually revealed to be a fellow patron, Richard (Reed Diamond), after which all hell breaks loose as Violet desperately tries to evade his murderous advances in order to get home to her family, who are being held hostage.

Violet finally manages to take Richard out by throwing a hockey puck at the window behind him. Richard at first mocks Violet for "missing him," before the window shatters and Richard is quite hilariously sucked out of the high-rise restaurant with all the force of a depressurised airplane.

This is followed up by a money shot of Richard falling - dropping, even - hundreds of feet and then landing on the restaurant's fancy sign. It's thoroughly daft, but exactly the sort of camp nonsense the entire movie should've been aiming for.
