Horror-comedy sequel The Babysitter: Killer Queen opens with Cole still reeling from the events in the first movie, where he was forced to kill his babysitter, Bee, and her friends after they tried to sacrifice him to Satan.

Shortly after a new student, Phoebe, joins Cole's class, he discovers Bee's minions have risen from the grave to finish what they started. Though Cole and Phoebe try to evade the devil worshippers, they're eventually captured. As a resurrected Bee emerges, she orders her followers to consume Cole and Phoebe's blood to gain godlike power.

But Bee corrupts the ritual, killing the other cult members in the process, and confesses that she used to be Phoebe's babysitter and sold her soul to the Devil to save Phoebe from dying. Believing she cannot be redeemed, Bee allows herself to be cast back to Hell, where she'll be tortured for all eternity.

Not only is it surprising to see Bee switch allegiances in the 11th hour, but her backstory recontextualises everything, since she voluntarily damned her soul to save somebody else. Bee thought she was beyond redemption, but many viewers would say otherwise.
