8 Reasons Why Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Night's 35 Is The Best Ever

6. The Largest Scare Zone

This anniversary year the team at Universal Orlando Resort have gone all out. One place this can be seen is in their scare zones.

HHN 35 boasts the largest scare zone ever created with Downtown Clowntown

Encircling the whole of the New York area, this zone sees some incredibly creepy clowns taking over the streets. Jack the Clown's right hand woman Chance leading the way. She even has her own creepy stage show where you might catch a glimpse of Jack.

Downtown Clowntown is filled with scare actors, huge set pieces and even guest activated triggers for you to have fun with. It's also home to some rather famous clowns... but more on those later.

Keep an eye out and you might even see Eddie, a previously discarded icon and Jack's slasher brother.

Of course Downtown Clowntown isn't the only scare zone, there are 4 others!

Fortnitemares has taken over the Central Park area and is really incredible. The characters, guest interaction and sets are wonderful. You don't have to be a fan of the games to appreciate how fun this area is, and despite being aimed at a possibly younger audience, HHN have not shied away from the scares. Halloween Horror Nights is better for having Fortnitemares there.

HHN35 also sees the return of Club Horror. A street experience that mixes music and drinks within the San Fransisco area.

Taking over Hollywood is Sideshow of Decay. Former lost icon Cindy Cane has finally been given her time to shine. This scare zone sees Cindy gifted the ability to resurrect "decayed nightmares" from a carnival graveyard.

Mel's Die-In, although not a scare zone, is a great place to hang out. Once again the rollerskating carhop zombies are back, offering up severed limbs instead of burgers.

Fans who have been going to HHN for years may recognise some of the characters who have been brought back from the past. Sideshow of Decay is dark, creepy and filled with scary creatures. You might also get a glimpse of the ringmaster himself, Dr Oddfellow.

Greeting you as you enter are the icons themselves Jack the Clown and Dr Oddfellow. In their Infernal Carnival scare zone you will be welcomed into the park by the some past icons as well as this year's specialists in chaos and control. The perfect way to enter and leave HHN.

This year's scare zones are elevated beyond anything you've experienced at HHN before!
