10 Amazing Rock Cover Songs You Haven't Heard Before

6. Kaiser Franz Josef - Show Me How To Live (Audioslave)

Underrated in their own right, Audioslave would probably be extremely impressed by Kaiser Franz Josef's version of their career landmark single.

Originally released in 2002 as a part of Audioslave's self-titled debut, 'Show Me How To Live' proved to the world that Audioslave were a rock super group to be reckoned with. But, with members from Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine, we shouldn't have expected anything less.

The Austrian trio, Kaiser Franz Josef, formed in 2010 and reached international fans thanks to their 2017 album, 'Make Rock Great Album'. Following the success of this album, KFJ released this cover of Audioslave's super hit as a one off single in 2018, just before they embarked on a summer festival tour which took them across Europe.

The vocal delivery in this cover is truly exceptional and although there is no touching Chris Cornell when it comes to vocal talent, KFJ do a fine job of getting as close to matching it as they can. The band clearly have a soft spot for cover songs, as they have also released a cover of Led Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta Love'.

If only Chris Cornell were here to listen to this incredible take on his work.
