10 Amazing Songs By Terrible Artists

5. Let Me Down - Limp Bizkit

As the years go by, Limp Bizkit just feels like the sad residue of the late '90s. Though the musicians behind the band were certainly talented for what they were, the colossal frat bro attitude brought on by Fred Durst has managed to become the laughing stock of rock for the past few decades. And on their most contentious album Results May Vary, Durst actually stepped up to the plate and...actually gave us something good?

This isn't an exaggeration either. Let Me Down is probably one of the greatest songs that Limp Bizkit have ever made, even down to the melodramatic lyrics. You can tell that they were even listening to the new school of music, with the nasally tone of Durst sounding closer to Chester Bennington that his normal whines in Break Stuff.

This is also the kind of backbeat that DJ Lethal is great at, with some of the rhythms sounding like he took all of the best stuff left over from House of Pain and put it in here. It's not like you can praise Wes Borland for the guitar work or anything. At the end of the day, this is probably the best that Fred is capable of doing, so why the hell did he make us sit through stuff like Rollin over and over again?
