10 Amazing Songs That Don't Have A Chorus

1. Abbey Road Medley - The Beatles

At the end of the '60s, it was becoming clear that the Fab Four had really done all they could do together. Since the Get Back project went belly up and would eventually be folded into the Let It Be album after they split up, the band still wanted to bring one last great album to the fans, using some of the great material they still had left. Not all of these songs were finished though, so they decided to just string them all together as one coherent piece.

Starting at the song You Never Give Me Your Money, the entire second half of Abbey Road is the Beatles coming together for one last epic piece, each one highlighting a little piece of their amazing chemistry. Flip flopping between songs by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, you really get the sense of the band wanting to play together again, whether it's the bluesy sounds of Mean Mr. Mustard or the calm and relaxing sounds of Sun King.

By the time you reach the song Golden Slumbers, you can really feel the weight of the music, with even the band realizing that it might be the final time that they were all playing together as a band. Capping things off with the End and Paul intoning that the love you take is equal to the love you make, this was more than just the island of misfit songs to them. This was the kind of operatic piece that made for the final chapter for one of the greatest bands rock and roll had ever seen.
