6. Beyonce
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m1EFMoRFvY Beyonce Knowles-Carter was a member of the late 90s/early 2000s pop ensemble Destinys Child (which was managed by her father Matthew Knowles), one of the most commercially successful "girl" groups of all-time. In addition to selling millions of records, the groups single, Say My Name, off their debut album, The Writings on the Wall, was awarded the Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group and the Best R&B Song at the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards. But like Justin Timberlake, Beyonce had 'breakout star' written all over her. In 2003, she released her first solo album, Dangerously in Love, which sold more than 11 million copies and featured the super-popular single, Crazy in Love. Destinys Child officially disbanded in 2005, and Beyonce evolved from solo star to a certified pop culture brand. Her 2008 album, I Am Sasha Fierce, produced one of the most popular pop songs of all-time in Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It). Shes starred in movies (garnering a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in Dreamgirls), performed at the 2008 inauguration of U.S. President Barack Obama, headlined the Super Bowl in 2013 and, in her marriage to Shawn Jay-Z Carter is one half of one the entertainment industrys most powerful and influential couples.
