10 Band Members Who ABSOLUTELY HATE Each Other
4. Everyone - CCR
It's hard to even imagine a band like Creedence Clearwater Revival to have any bad blood between them. After all, from every single feel-good tune that these guys would put on the radio at any given time, these chooglin buddies felt like a band of brothers who just happened to be all over the charts. On the other hand, things got a lot messier when they reached the end of the '60s.
Wanting to have more of a voice in the songwriting process, Tom Fogerty suggested that the band have a more democratic process to their musical construction, something which didn't sit well with his brother John. Seeing how the formula seemed to be working, it wasn't worth screwing up by having the other guys play catch-up. No longer satisfied in his role anymore, Tom eventually left the group, leaving CCR as a trio for their final album Mardi Gras.
Eventually relenting, the resulting album was an incoherent mess, with great Fogerty songs being paired alongside tracks that should have been left on the cutting room floor from the very beginning. Ever since, the members have still not recovered from the separation, even after Tom Fogerty passed away in 1990. Despite all the good times that we've had with them, it's a shame that CCR couldn't have made those good times last internally.
