10 Best Female Guitarists Of All Time

3. St. Vincent

Beginning her career as an unstoppable bad-ass force within the industry with the band Polyphonic Spree, St. Vincent has already produced five stellar albums and routinely dazzled her audiences with her specially designed Music Man guitar, which even the legendary Jack White had to try out one time.

Known for her insanely recognisable style that seems to blur between the worlds of euphoria and utter insanity, we're beginning to see an entire sub-genre open up that St. Vincent has created for herself, located somewhere between the realms of art rock and electropop.

With her fourth album, St. Vincent, winning a Grammy for Best Alternative Album and going on to be named Album of the Year by the likes of The Guardian, Entertainment Weekly, NME and Slant, we keep finding ourselves coming back to the question of whether there's anything that this woman cannot do.

Her official YouTube channel already has 137 thousand subscribers and, just as one final win, her official website is also called ilovestvincent.com, which is obviously just another undeniably awesome tick for the Oklahoma guitarist.

Horror fan, gamer, all round subpar content creator. Strongly believes that Toad is the real hero of the Mario universe, and that we've probably had enough Batman origin stories.
