10 Best Music Videos Of The 2000's

6. Just Dance - Lady Gaga

With all of her accolades in both film and music, it's almost cute to look back at the beginnings of Lady Gaga's career. Before she set the world on fire with songs like "Born This Way" or became the lovable Ally in A Star Is Born, she was one of the freakiest artists on the dance pop scene looking for her first big smash.

Then again, there was always a bit more substance to Gaga's material than her more generic dance pop counterparts. The entire clip for "Just Dance" revolves around a single house party, with the wild escapades getting more and more out of hand as the night goes on. However, this song is not just about having fun and forgetting your troubles. The way the video illustrates the idea of losing yourself is perfect for describing someone just on the edge of sanity.

The music also goes great with the visuals, with the beat getting more and more robotic as Gaga starts coming to her senses. While it's always a good feeling to cut loose and forget about your feelings, the video "Just Dance" shows the line between having a good time and falling prey to your own excess. It may be fun to just dance now, but you can't get too out of hand just yet.
