10 Best Rock Music Videos Of 2023 (So Far)

6. Lost - Linkin Park

The song Lost by Linkin Park was recorded back in 2003 as part of the sessions for the Meteora album. It didn't get released until February 2023, as part of that record's 20th anniversary celebrations.

In a bittersweet moment for fans of the band, that meant they got to hear a "new" song featuring Chester Bennington on vocals. To tastefully present their late frontman in the video, the band turned to AI.

Using images from old music videos, live performances, and documentaries, producers and animators Maciej Kuciara and pplpleasr put together this heady piece of work to serve as Lost's visual promotion.

Alongside the eerily distorted footage of the band runs the story of a girl who seems to be running from something. We're not quite sure what it is, but her journey takes across various psychedelic landscapes created by the artificial intelligence.

To get a new Linkin Park song at all was a real treat, but it was even better to get one backed up by such a beautiful video. Even if this is another step closer to AI taking over the world.
