10 Best Stereophonics Songs

4. Just Looking - Performance and Cocktails

Nothing short of a power ballad, Just Looking represents the Stereophonics on their A-game with yet another memorable single from their sophomore album, Performance and Cocktails. Lyrically, the song features Kelly Jones lamenting about the normal life he could have led, but is unsure of whether or not he actually wants the lives that others lead. If the lyrics of this song weren't already interesting, the music complements the sentiment perfectly.

The song itself switches between two main dynamics: the explosive energy of the choruses, and the much quieter and subdued verses, accented with a clean electric guitar and minimal drum work. This energy is then brought to the max when the chorus kicks in, support by strong musical work from the original Stereophonics trio.

Every member present in this track is given a chance to shine, be it Cable's drum work, Richard Jones' bass playing, or Kelly Jones vocal/guitar contributions. All of these blend together perfectly to create yet another amazing Stereophonics song.
