10 Greatest Musical Duos Of All Time

5. Run The Jewels

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-S9mtYowPY Killer Mike and El-P have put out two incredible albums that could not have been anything but. Both members of Run the Jewels have been releasing amazing work in their own camps for almost twenty years at this point. El-P has put out a string of influential solo albums along with running the important underground label Definitive Jux, while Killer Mike has issued equally fantastic solo albums along with guest work on tracks with Outkast, Jay Z, and many more. The pair first teamed up in 2012, with El-P producing Killer Mike's album "R.A.P. Music" and Mike turning in a guest spot on El-P's album "Cancer 4 Cure." The following year, the duo put out their instantly acclaimed debut album containing spirited songs like "Banana Clipper" and "36" Chain." It seemed as though it would be a flash in the pan - and yet the very next year they put out its sequel, which boosted the ferocity to an unforeseen degree. "Oh My Darling Don't Cry" and "Close Your Eyes (and Count to F*ck)" combine flawless production with impassioned lyricism for an even more urgent, of-it's-time record. One hopes Run the Jewels will heighten their achievements come album three.
