10 Highly Underrated Rock Music Album Covers

7. All Or Nothing - The Subways

Formed in 2002, The Subways are an English trio that put out their first album in 2005. It did reasonably well, but they would achieve their best UK chart position with their following release, All or Nothing.

Produced by the legendary Butch Vig, the album's hearty, honest sound earned it a good deal of positive feedback. Another plus point was its cover, one of the most visually impressive of the entire year.

The picture on the front of All or Nothing looks like it was ripped straight from the scenes of an action movie. Set against a desert backdrop, a red car flies through the air after being launched off a ramp. Oh, and the car is also on fire. That's rad.

Whilst some people like to get clever about it, sometimes rock music is best enjoyed as a celebration of man's purely animalistic tendencies.

The sight of a flaming car soaring through the desert skies isn't particularly evocative or layered with social context, but it is a simply stunning image that deserves to be associated with one of the craziest genres in music history.
