10 Hilariously Bad Hard Rock Songs
2. The Man Without Fear - Drowning Pool and Rob Zombie
Whenever submitting something for a movie soundtrack, you're not always going to be giving it 100% all of the time. While there are rare exceptions of groups that go the extra mile, songs that turn up on soundtracks tend to feel more like B-side material from bands rather than the cream of the crop. On other occasions though, you do get that one song that is just a marvel to listen to, both literally and figuratively.
Seeing how Rob Zombie was always a movie and comic book nerd, to see him work his magic on the soundtrack to Daredevil should have been something awesome. This was the golden age of the corny superhero, though, with Ben Affleck playing our Daredevil. Working in collaboration with Drowning Pool, Rob's take on this song is one of the most unintentionally hilarious bits of music he has ever made.
To be fair, Zombie isn't necessarily awful on this song, but the way he actually enunciates alongside the nu metal track about the wonders of Daredevil is a lot more chaotic than he probably wanted, almost like he's out of breath every time he gets to the end of the song. It also doesn't help that the backing vocal screams of "DAREDEVIL" are some of the most out of place screams in any other metal song. Considering that this version of Daredevil dropped off hard at the box office, it did at least give us a bit of a chuckle on the musical front.
