6. Burn It To The Ground
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSf_cs4-E-I By far the most uptempo track on this list thus far, 'Burn It To The Ground' aims to capture that feelgood factor of hitting the town, hopefully to see Nickelback and then hit the bar afterwards, as you all buy Nickelback singles on iTunes. Not only does it achieve this, it surpasses it. There's something instantly likeable about the lyrics, which have a rogue-like quality to them. "Get your hands off of this glass, last call, my ass" sums up how many feel when out and about, determined to get as messed up as possible and have a good time. Many, many folks who would say they dislike the band have cranked up the volume when they hear this one come on. It's driving rock personified too, with that churning beat repeating over and over. At only a shade over 3 1/2 minutes long, 'Burn It To The Ground' was made for rock radio, keeping Nickelback firmly in that market as they released more light-hearted songs which would appeal to a broader audience.
