6. Sepultura - Machine Messiah

Machine Messiah is set to be Brazilian metal band Sepultura's fourteenth studio record since their formation in 1984. Over the decades the band have continued to progress their sound, from thrash metal to groove metal and later dabbling with punk, nu metal and industrial metal.

The release of Machine Messiah will mark four years since Sepultura's previous record The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart, which dropped way back in 2013. This is the longest ever time period between two Sepultura releases, so hype in the metal community is extraordinarily high.

The record may not receive any mainstream radio coverage, but nobody who likes the band actually gives a sh*t, more concerned with hearing a slew of new Sepultura tunes. If the band's studio diary series on YouTube is anything to by, the record is going to be fantastic.
