10 Incredible 2000s Bands That Are Still Killing It
5. Kasabian
654969In the 2000s, Kasabian were a defining feature of British music and since then nothing’s changed. The band combined dance electronics with the indie culture that was rife in Britain and wrote songs like Club Foot, Fire and Underdog that would be played at football matches, in nightclubs and on TV shows for years to come. However 16 years after the release of their first album, the Leicester lads are still everywhere, they’re still selling out arenas and they still write great music.
Kasabian’s last album, For Crying Out Loud featured some of the band's best material in songs like Ill Ray (The King), You’re In Love With a Psycho and Comeback Kid. The band had previously headlined Glastonbury, then took their new album around arenas and to a headline slot at Reading and Leeds festival, proving that they’re one of the biggest artists in the country.
The band don’t mix their sound up much, but they have a genius formula that sees them popping out constant hits for the British public. They’ve been massive for 16 years and they’re not going anywhere.
