10 Most Anticipated Rock And Metal Albums Of 2017
3. Marmozets
Fleeing the shackles of their mathcore roots for sensational debut album The Weird And Wonderful back in 2014, Marmozets rapidly became the hottest property in UK alternative music. Climbing the bills at festivals, selling out bigger venues on their own, and touring the United States became standard procedure for the Yorkshire noisemakers. Spending years touring up and down the country, nurturing a dedicated cult fanbase in the process, this was a fairy tale story of passionate, young musicians doing good. But then it went quiet.
With vocalist Becca MacIntyre sitting out most of 2016 following knee surgery, the wait for one Britain’s most exciting bands’ sophomore record continues to grow, but we’re hoping it should be here soon. Laying the groundwork for what is sonically possible in their debut effort - just listen to the diversity between Captivate You and Vibetech - the possibilities for Marmozets are endless. We just want to hear it now!
