When discussing a topic, it is always debatable what to include when compiling a list of the ten best of anything. Whether it music, movies, books, or something else. There are a number of reasons for this. First, there is the matter of the sheer number of releases over the years. Secondly, it calls into play your opinions. I think we all know the old adage about opinions. Third, there is the problem of compiling both of the aforementioned into a usable, working list that wont make you look like a complete amateur. With that in mind, I have put together a list of what I believe are the Top 10 Most Influential Hard Rock and Metal releases of all time. This list is what I believe are the CDs that not only changed the face of their genres, but have stood the test of time. Whether it was for record sales, musical influence on future generations of musicians, or just the pure audacious spirit displayed on the said release; I believe many people will have not only owned these releases but also share their own unique experience with these records.
