10 Most Underrated Glam Rock Songs Of All Time

8. Brocken Heart (Original Version) - White Lion

The song itself is not unfamiliar to glam rock fans. The 1991 version, re-recorded as part of the “Mane Attraction” album, is one of the most famous ballads from the era. Here however, we are talking about the original version of the song.

Part of the band’s debut album, “Fight to Survive”, this was a slightly less melodious presentation of the song, especially given the absence of keyboards. However that slight roughness really adds to the atmosphere of the song.

The ballad elements are still there, but here there is a more hard-hitting aspect to it. Instead of lulling listeners into an immersive experience, this one provides a kick up their backsides, getting them on their feet and coursing with energy. Last but not least, the chorus is pure brilliance.
