10 Most Underrated Ozzy Osbourne Songs

8. Miracle Man - No Rest For The Wicked

Ozzy's untouchable string of releases tends to boil down to who's playing guitar in the band. Ever since Randy Rhoads lit a fire under his ass in the early days, Ozzy has always kept his six-string wielders close to his chest both in the studio and on the road. However, after Jake E. Lee's departure, things were about to get a whole lot more muscly.

Drafting in Zakk Wylde from the East Coast club circuit, this is some of the first solo work we ever got to hear from this guy, which took you on a rollercoaster ride from the word go. As soon as you get a taste of those meaty bends and intense vibrato coming off of these riffs, you begin to realize that Ozzy's next era is going to be a different beast than the cleaner stuff you got in the '80s.

Even though there are still faint wisps of the more glam style of Ozzy's sound, you can hear Wylde really taking the tracks to another place entirely, almost channeling a heavier version of someone like Slash or Billy Gibbons while staying rooted in the world of metal. With this becoming the unofficial standout of this record, Ozzy had found a new adoptive son and the world was given one of its craziest guitar heroes.
