10 Music Artists Who Absolutely Hate Each Other

1. Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons

There's enough disfunction happening in KISS throughout most of their career to make three separate documentaries unto themselves. From the nearly unwatchable movie that they made at the height of their fame with Phantom of the Park to dropping guitarists and drummers like flies, the core basis of these make up clad badasses has been fractured for a long time. Then again, when you have both Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley playing off each other, was it really that stable to begin with?

Even when first coming together, it's not like Stanley and Simmons were exactly the best of friends onstage or off, with Stanley calling Gene far too egotistical for his own good more than a few times. What they did see in each other though was determination, which gave them the drive to become one of the biggest glam rock acts in the world, adopting new personas whenever they took to the stage.

Though they've kept it professional, the seeds of resentment are all still there, with the '80s being the most fractured as Stanley was tasked with finishing the band's records while Simmons chased an acting career that was never going to come. For as much as KISS is known to be a business at this point, don't expect the two CEOs to be looking out for each other at every single turn.
