10 Music Autobiographies We Would Love To Read

9. Morrissey

morrissey Rumours of Morrissey€™s long-awaited autobiography have been bouncing around for a few years now, but as yet, nothing book-like has materialised. If/when these highly anticipated memoirs are released into the public sphere, one imagines that we shall be treated to an enthralling, eloquently written documentation of life from one of the most shy and unlikely frontmen in music. I will be interested to hear his experiences throughout the 1980s - an era of extreme excess and frivolity within the music business that so contrasted with his own image - and indeed his take on the fall-out from The Smiths which is seemingly one of the bitterest and most legally embroiled in history. Whether or not Morrissey will disclose anything regarding his long debated sexuality remains to be seen €“ personally, I think it extremely unlikely €“ however you can guarantee that he won€™t be mincing his words and that is why this book will shift volumes.
