10 Music Easter Eggs You Never Realised Were In Famous Albums
1. Radiohead Kid A
Not content with appearing merely once on this list, Radiohead are back again with another fascinating album easter egg. Released as the follow up to the band's critically acclaimed album OK Computer, Kid A featured a radical shift in musical direction, managing to both baffle and excite critics at the time of its release.
That's not the interesting bit, though. Everyone knows what a lyric booklet is (though with the massive digitization of music in the last decade, that may not be the case for long). They're commonly found opposite the CD in its plastic case, featuring album artwork, album credits and track lyrics. With Kid A, though, an entire second booklet was hidden under the CD tray, the black piece of plastic on which the CD is placed. The booklet was filled with bizarre artwork and lyrics (many of which turned out to be from the band's next two albums, Amnesiac and Hail To The Thief). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ml6ucH1OBco
