10 Music Easter Eggs You Never Realised Were In Famous Albums

10. Weird Al €“ I Remember Larry

Many of the world's most famous musical easter eggs involve playing songs backwards to reveal hidden messages and phrases. This practice is highly controversial in some circles, with many fearing the promotion of supposed satanic messages (especially when it comes to rock and metal music).

This is achieved through a process known as backmasking. Backmasking involves recording music backwards onto its own track, which can then be layered in forward.

Always one to make fun of...well, everything, the Weird Al track I Remember Larry from his 1996 album Bad Hair Day actually features its very own backwards message. When the track is reversed, at round the 3:10 mark you can hear Al say: "Wow, you must have an awful lot of free time on your hands."
