10 Music Videos That Were Actually Made By Famous Directors

6. Edgar Wright - Gust Of Wind (Pharrell Williams)

Celebrated director of television programme Spaced, Edgar Wright's most famous work is undoubtedly The Cornetto Trilogy, a three-film collaboration (Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End) between Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Wright's contribution to the world of music videos comes in the form of Gust Of Wind by Pharrell Williams, written by Williams and Daft Punk and released in 2014. It combines Wright's typically beautiful cinematography with the more fantastical elements of his recent films. The video is gorgeously autumnal, set against red and gold leaved trees and featuring a hypnotic dance troupe. It also features disembodied stone carvings of Daft Punk which spring to life and sing. Awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWSRtPTmRr4
